Vacation dreams are taking shape
It smells of fresh wood, the warm light of the late summer sun streams through the large balcony windows, and there’s hammering and drilling everywhere: our construction project in the Hochsauerland is making huge strides in September 2026!
We’ve already shared our vision of a laid-back getaway with friends – and now that vision is becoming more tangible week by week. We’ve put on our hard hats and are taking you on a tour of the latest developments.
A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR FUTURE FAVORITE ROOMS
Anyone currently strolling through the corridors of the Schutzhütte won’t need much imagination to feel the alpine Boho charm. In many rooms, the floors have already been laid for good, and the walls are glowing in soft, earthy tones. Our craftsmen have also started assembling the first beds and cozy wardrobes.
You can already get a wonderful feel for the future vibe in three of our popular room categories.
MEDIUM Spacy meets MEDIUM Pure: flexible space to breathe
We’re taking a look inside the MEDIUM Spacy.
This room on the second and third floors offers especially generous space to move around on approx. 27 m² and is designed to be fully accessible.

SMALL PURE - COMPACT AND CHARMING
It’s already worth taking a look inside the SMALL Pure, too.
On approx. 19 m², a compact, cozy room is taking shape here, with an enclosed bathroom and its own balcony.
Here, too, we can already test the connecting door to the adjacent MEDIUM Spacy, giving you maximum flexibility when booking.
THE HEART OF THE SPA AREA
After an active day out in nature or in the directly connected Lagoon pool, you need a place to breathe. That place is currently being created on the first floor: our exclusive wellness and spa area.
A true highlight of our tour is the newly built wooden frame of the new fireplace lounge, rising up right in the middle of the adults-only quiet zone.
The lounge is the heart of the wellness area.
Where raw beams still stand today, a warming fire will soon be crackling.
In the future, you’ll sink into stylish sofas here, surrounded by cozy cushions and lovingly selected accessories.
With its warm light and calm atmosphere, this room will feel like your second living room – the perfect place to arrive and simply enjoy.
