Indoor wellness area
Our indoor wellness area will be your place to arrive and switch off, creating a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere with its elegant boho style. Warm earth tones, soft fabrics, and natural materials such as stone, wood, and linen will also create an ambiance that makes you want to simply relax.
The comfortable loungers and armchairs will invite you to relax and unwind while you enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. The area will combine relaxed lounge vibes with soothing spa comfort. Various saunas, from the classic Finnish sauna to the gentle bio-sauna, will offer you just the right thing to leave everyday life behind. Everything here is designed to make you feel completely at ease.
Our wellness and spa area will be exclusively for adults – a retreat that invites you to linger and where well-being and relaxation take center stage.
Cozy fireplace lounge
At the heart of the wellness area, our cozy fireplace lounge awaits you. Here, the fire crackles, and stylish sofas and cozy cushions will create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel relaxed.
Designed with lovingly selected accessories and warm lighting, this room will feel like a second living room – a place to arrive, take a deep breath, and enjoy.
Open from 11 AM to 10 PM, the wellness area will offer plenty of time for you. Whether for a casual moment to chill or to immerse yourself in a good book – you’ll find your perfect spot to relax here.

Spa bar with snacks
Our Spa bar, cozily nestled in the wellness area, will invite you to chat in a relaxed atmosphere or simply lean back for a moment – with a magnificent view over the spa.
Open from 11 AM to 8 PM, the bar will offer everything your heart desires: soothing teas, fresh smoothies, and light wines. Small, healthy snacks will also be available to pamper you between wellness sessions.
Whether after a sauna session or a relaxing massage – the Spa bar will be just the right place to recharge your batteries in a relaxed way and fully enjoy the feel-good atmosphere.
Igloo sauna with panoramic view
Amidst nature yet completely private: Our igloo sauna in the outdoor area will be another highlight. It impresses not only with its architecture but also with the panoramic experience. Handcrafted from natural wood and in an iconic design, it combines traditional craftsmanship with modern comfort.
Through the large panoramic window, a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape opens up – for a sauna experience that touches body and soul alike. The steam of the igloo sauna is unique. It rises upwards to the ceiling through the curved shape and then slowly drifts downwards, filling the entire room with its pampering warmth.

Terrace with infinity pool
Our outdoor area will feature a spacious terrace, accessible from three sides, boasting a true highlight: an infinity pool that will offer you an unobstructed view of nature. Here you can float relaxed in the water and enjoy the fresh air – perfect for simply letting go.
Around the pool, cozy lounge furniture, daybeds, and comfortable sofas will await you – ideal for enjoying the sun or retreating after a refreshing swim.
And of course, there will also be a bar here, providing you with cool drinks and light snacks, perfectly rounding off your relaxation experience. This terrace will be your place to breathe deeply and enjoy, where wellness and nature combine in a relaxed way.
Lagunen-Erlebnisbad Willingen
A real highlight for our guests will be the exclusive, free access to the newly designed Lagunen-Erlebnisbad (Spa & Water World) in Willingen, which reopened in December 2025 after extensive renovation work.
Thanks to direct access from the hotel, you will be able to comfortably immerse yourself in this impressive water world! A total of 940 m² of water surface offers you warm natural brine water and numerous attractions in the modern Lagunen-Erlebnisbad (Spa & Water World). For even more relaxation, the new sauna garden with six themed saunas and spacious relaxation zones provides additional comfort.
For families, the Aqua slide park with its three slides will guarantee a lot of fun. The little ones can also let off steam in the 32° warm children’s pool without brine water, which is equipped with a boat canal and a children’s slide.
Sport for every fitness level
The sports offerings at the Hotel Schutzhütte will provide everything fitness and health enthusiasts could wish for. In the fitness room, a modern selection of equipment will await you – from cardio and strength stations to free weights. Here you will be able to tailor your training precisely to your goals.
For all who love movement and relaxation outdoors, we will have our yoga deck in the outdoor area. Under the open sky, you can participate in yoga sessions and find your inner balance in the fresh air.
The offerings will be complemented by diverse courses led by experienced trainers and animators. Whether yoga, Pilates, or functional training – there’s something for every fitness level to bring body and mind into harmony and get the most out of your workout.
