The topping-out ceremony of the Schutzhütte was a complete success. Representatives from politics, business, tourism and partner companies, as well as neighbors, friends and numerous craftsmen, enjoyed the celebrations and admired the vernissage with hotel design renderings.
Another Milestone Has been Reached
With the topping-out ceremony, another important construction phase has now been completed. The roof rests on the shell of the Schutzhütte and we were delighted to host a celebration to mark the occasion. The traditional topping-out ceremony speech was given and the glass was ceremoniously smashed on the floor of the hotel. This is supposed to bring good luck and blessings
As part of a small vernissage, we presented our guests with an exclusive insight into the vision of the Schutzhütte. Previously unpublished renderings showed rooms, terrace, restaurant and more.
In his speech, hotel manager Marc Vollbracht also shared a few construction anecdotes and led tours through the shell. Meanwhile, our guests were already able to get an impression of the premises and the locations for rooms, wellness area and more.
Fitting Celebrations for the Topping-Out Ceremony
Of course, we took care of the physical well-being. A big highlight was the Arpe on site, which was equipped with a beer tap system. Our own beer “Hüttengold” flowed fresh from the tap here. Our guests were enthusiastic about the finely malty taste and were happy to have a second helping.
To warm up properly, we served Hot Aperol with fresh fruit. The ordered Coffee Bike also provided our guests with hot coffee specialties. Later in the evening, our buffet impressed with hearty delicacies and sweet desserts.
All of this was accompanied by the new Schutzhütte playlist. This was adapted true to the “Heartbeat & Soul” concept and spread LoFi beats throughout the evening.
All in all, we can say: The topping-out ceremony of the Schutzhütte was a complete success. We would like to thank all our guests for their visit and are already looking forward to the next major milestone in the history of the new design hotel in Willingen.
