ABOUT US

Sandra and Marc Vollbracht celebrated the laying of the foundation stone for the new Boutique Hotel Schutzhütte with their invited guests in Willingen on 2024-06-18. There is great anticipation for the new hotel, which combines alpine flair with boho elements and modern architecture. The Schutzhütte will feature 69 rooms, ranging from double rooms and family rooms to a 70 square meter suite with a sauna. Nine chalets are also planned. Additionally, the Design Hotel Schutzhütte will offer many highlights.

ACTIVE & NATURE IN WILLINGEN

Willingen (Upland) is located in Hesse in the north-eastern part of the Rothaargebirge mountains and borders the Hochsauerland district in North Rhine-Westphalia. The town and the region are a popular destination for outdoor activities, offering a wide range of opportunities for cycling, hiking and winter sports. Willingen is known for its excellent mountain bike trails and cycle tours, as well as being a paradise for hikers. Willingen is also an important winter sports resort with numerous offers.

WELLNESS & SPORT

Our wellness and spa area on the first floor will be a real highlight! Here, you can expect relaxing saunas, stylish treatment rooms, and an inviting spa bar with a wellness lounge. The boho style in warm colors will create an atmosphere where you can wonderfully relax.

Another highlight will be the spacious terrace, accessible from three sides. The fantastic infinity pool will be the centerpiece. To relax by the pool outdoors, there will be many lounge areas, daybeds, and, of course, a bar.

If you want to experience even more wellness and swimming fun, you can access the adjacent lagoon pool directly from the hotel.

Naschmarkt & Deli

At the Schutzhütte, dining becomes an experience: From creative grill buffets with live cooking in the Naschmarkt to sociable tapas in the Deli. Here, alpine style meets casual boho flair – and a true passion for enjoyment.
