ABOUT US

Sandra and Marc Vollbracht celebrated the foundation stone for the new boutique hotel Schutzhütte with their invited guests in Willingen on 18.06.2024. They are very excited about the new hotel, which combines alpine flair with boho elements and modern architecture. The Schutzhütte will have 69 rooms, ranging from double rooms and family rooms to a 70 square meter suite with sauna. Nine chalets are also planned. The Schutzhütte design hotel will also offer many highlights.

ACTIVE & NATURE IN WILLINGEN

Willingen (Upland) is located in Hesse in the north-eastern part of the Rothaargebirge mountains and borders the Hochsauerland district in North Rhine-Westphalia. The town and the region are a popular destination for outdoor activities, offering a wide range of opportunities for cycling, hiking and winter sports. Willingen is known for its excellent mountain bike trails and cycle tours, as well as being a paradise for hikers. Willingen is also an important winter sports resort with numerous offers.

WELLNESS & SPORT

Our wellness and spa area on the first floor is going to be a true highlight! Here, you’ll find relaxing saunas, stylish treatment rooms, and an inviting spa bar with a wellness lounge. The boho-style design in warm colors will create an atmosphere where you can completely unwind.

Another highlight will be the spacious terrace, accessible from three sides, with a stunning infinity pool at its center. For outdoor relaxation by the pool, there will be plenty of lounge areas, daybeds, and of course, a bar.

For even more wellness and swimming fun, guests can access the adjacent Lagoon Pool directly from the hotel.
