The Schutzhütte grows upwards
Anyone who has ever stood at the construction fence will know that something is happening here! Floor by floor, the Schutzhütte lifestyle hotel is growing upwards. In this article, we take you to the construction site and show you how our vision is slowly but surely becoming reality.
The shell takes shape
Work is in full swing – literally. While the first floor has already been stripped and is now freely accessible, the second floor is also making rapid progress. Most of the concrete work there has been completed and the formwork has already been completely stripped. This means that a large part of the load-bearing shell construction on the lower floors has already been completed.
At the moment, everything revolves around the second floor: the ceiling is currently being put in place. The imposing construction cranes continue to work tirelessly and ensure that building materials land exactly where they are needed.
Connection to the lagoon pool: the foundation for relaxation
Another exciting sub-project is the tunnel to the lagoon pool. This will create a direct, all-weather connection for our future guests. The concrete foundation for the tunnel floor slab is currently being poured. This may sound unspectacular, but it is a technically demanding step – after all, everything needs to be perfectly sealed, load-bearing and durable later on.
The tunnel will connect the new hotel with the existing lagoon pool – so you can quickly access the large adventure pool with water slides, separate wellness area and more. The Schutzhütte bathing world and the wellness area, on the other hand, are located directly in the hotel and can be used by you undisturbed.
Note: The construction progress refers to the status as of May 2025. Changes and adjustments are possible in the further course – but the goal remains: a very special place to feel good.
