In addition to the casual lifestyle atmosphere and the special design, the highlights of the Schutzhütte also include culinary delights with two restaurants and a cozy bar with a fireplace lounge as well as the extraordinary wellness and spa-area with saunas, an outdoor infinity pool and a special spa-bar for relaxing moments.
Particularly noteworthy is the direct connecting corridor to the lagoon pool, which provides guests with convenient access.

About the Vollbracht family
Behind the Schutzhütte are Sandra and Marc Vollbracht, who have successfully managed the award-winning Familotel Sonnenpark in Willingen since 2012.
This 4-star hotel offers a family-centered vacation experience. With 90 apartments, comprehensive services, and facilities tailored to the needs of parents and children, it has become a beloved destination for families.
But what happens when children outgrow the Sonnenpark? With this question in mind, the idea emerged to also cater to these guests and their evolving vacation needs, while still considering families with children in the planning of the Schutzhütte.
Schutzhütte vs. Sonnenpark
Families are also warmly welcomed at the Schutzhütte. However, unlike the Sonnenpark, the Schutzhütte is not a family hotel with childcare and play areas.
Guests familiar with the Sonnenpark appreciate its comprehensive all-inclusive offering, where nearly all services are included. While many services will also be included at the Schutzhütte, it is not an all-inclusive hotel. Meals can be booked individually, providing flexibility. This leaves plenty of time for excursions, nature experiences by bike, on foot, or on skis, or to explore Willingen’s diverse leisure offerings. This allows for a relaxed and personalized vacation experience.
