Reaching new heights with solar energy
The roof of the Schutzhütte is now completely finished and sits majestically on our construction project. Thanks to the innovative integrated solar modules, we are sustainably relying on the power of the sun to supply the new lifestyle hotel in Willingen with energy.
A look through the window
The snow in the valley has given way to warmer temperatures, completely clearing our construction site again. This has given us the opportunity to install all the necessary windows. Only the last few are missing on the ground floor, but they will follow shortly. This means that it is already possible to continue working in the building itself, protected from the weather, which is made even more pleasant by one or two heat measures. Currently, more and more drywall walls are being erected and the individual rooms are visibly separating.
Sustainable energy generation at the Schutzhütte
As you have certainly already seen in the photo, our roof is now completely finished. However, some areas of the tiles are darker than others. What’s that all about? We’ll tell you! As one of the first companies ever, we are equipped with innovative PV modules that are embedded in our roof. This not only reduces the maintenance effort, but also ensures a proper energy yield paired with a chic building appearance.
With the help of this technical masterpiece, we can supply the Schutzhütte with solar energy in the best possible way and further promote sustainable electricity generation. This corresponds exactly to our ecological idea, which, in addition to many other values, underlies the concept of the Schutzhütte.
In the following weeks, some further work will progress. While the construction of the drywall walls in the interior continues, the facade will soon be insulated and the balcony railings will then be attached. The model room is also in the works and will soon be presented by us.
All in all, the construction of the Schutzhütte is progressing really well! Even if our team is a little envious of the skiers on the snow-covered slopes 😉
Note: The construction progress refers to the status in January 2026. Changes and adjustments are possible in the further course – but the goal remains: a very special place to feel good.
