Conditions of participation

The competition is organized in Germany by the operating company of Hotel Schutzhütte, SPH Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, Sonnenweg 4a, 34508 Willingen.

By entering the competition, participants accept these conditions of participation.

All persons residing in Germany who are 18 years of age or older at the time of participation and have an Instagram or Facebook profile are eligible to participate.

Employees of SPH Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, Sonnenpark Hotel GmbH & Co. KG or affiliated companies, authorized representatives, as well as all advertising agencies involved in the event and the organization and execution of the competition and their respective family and household members are excluded from participation.

SPH Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG has the right to exclude participants from the competition without giving reasons if they culpably violate the conditions of participation or attempt to influence the competition in an unfair manner. This applies in particular to disruption, threats and harassment of employees or other participants. The prerequisite for valid participation is liking the competition post ( Facebook and/or Instagram), as well as following the account “hotel_schutzhuette” (https://www.instagram.com/hotel_schutzhuette/) and/or “Schutzhütte” (https://www.facebook.com/schutzhuette) and commenting on at least 1 real Instagram or Facebook profile.

The competition starts on September 30, 2026

Closing date is October 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM

Prizes to be won:

1st prize: RENEKA Family Home espresso coffee machine in cream white

2nd prize: 10x 1 stainless-steel bottle cooler with exclusive Schutzhütte branding

3rd prize: 10x 1 WMF waiter’s corkscrew with exclusive Schutzhütte branding

The prize is non-transferable. Cash payment or exchange of prizes is not possible.

Participants may waive the prize. In this case, the next participant in the winner ranking will move up.

The winners will be selected from all entries (online) by drawing lots within two business days after the closing date and informed by direct message on Instagram or Facebook about the prize.

The organizer accepts no liability for any inaccessibility in this regard and/or the occurrence of technical problems and/or disruptions in communication. The competition may be terminated or removed due to external circumstances and constraints without this giving rise to any claims by participants against the organizer.

The prize must be accepted within 7 working days of the prize notification, otherwise the claim to the prize will expire. The complete contact details (first and last name as well as postal address) must then be sent by email to SPH Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG (Hotel Schutzhütte) at info@schutzhuette.de. The prize will then be sent by post within Germany to the specified postal address. If the prize cannot be delivered on the first attempt, the claim to the prize expires and SPH Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG (Hotel Schutzhütte) has the right to draw a substitute winner.

The winner also agrees that their name (profile name and/or person’s name) will be mentioned in a winner’s post by Hotel Schutzhütte and published on Facebook and/or Instagram in connection with the competition.

Only one entry per person is permitted. Legal recourse is excluded.

Data protection notice

When you first contact us, we will inform you in accordance with Art. 13 and Art. 14 GDPR that we will collect your data and process it further. You hereby consent to the transfer of your personal data. We also refer to the principles of Art. 15-20 GDPR . The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 2 lit. b) GDPR. You also have the right at any time to to object to the processing of personal data concerning them at Sonnenpark Hotel GmbH & Co. KG, C/O Hotel Schutzhütte, Sonnenweg 4a, 34508 Willingen.

Notes and conditions of Facebook

In addition to these conditions of participation, the relationship between the organizer, the participant, and Facebook is determined by the Facebook terms of service https://www.facebook.com/terms.php and the Facebook data protection rules: https://www.facebook.com/privacy.

Participants cannot assert any claims against Facebook that arise in connection with the use of the competition application or participation in the competition.

Participants acknowledge that neither the competition application nor the competition is in any way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook or has any connection with Facebook.

All information and data provided by or collected from participants through the use of the competition application or during the competition will only be provided to the organizer and not to Facebook.

All inquiries and comments regarding the competition should be directed to the organizer and not to Facebook.

Exemption from Instagram

This competition is conducted by the operating company of Hotel Schutzhütte, SPH Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, Sonnenweg 4a, 34508 Willingen. This competition is not affiliated with Instagram and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Instagram. Information is transmitted to the organizer, not to Instagram.
